This half day workshop is convened by Perry World House, Penn’s new hub for global engagement and international policy research. It aims to identify and explore some of the most pressing questions in the space of urbanization and migration by showcasing the work of Penn faculty; the panels will be organized so as to highlight different methodological and disciplinary approaches to this research. External participants have also been invited to present and provide feedback. The workshop seeks to identify potential research questions that will inform the work of the Global Innovation Institute (GII), the research component of Perry World House.
