Sanya Tinaikar is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences studying Economics with minors in Chemistry and Bioethics. She is interested in healthcare access and environmental justice, understanding how environmental factors can influence economic inequality, population health, and, broadly, what this might imply for climate adaptation and effects on human capital. On campus, she is an SNF Paideia Fellow, Co-Chair for Penn Wellness Student Coalition, Co-Editor-in-Chief of Penn Bioethics Journal, and an Undergraduate Coordinator for United Community Clinic, a free clinic serving the West Philadelphia Parkside community. She has also conducted clinical research at Penn Medicine and at the CHOP PolicyLab. You can usually find her running or drawing cartoons.
