On Monday, April 13, Penn IUR Co-Director Susan Wachter will host Mark Zandi, Chief Economist, Moody’s Analytics, and Ari Shalam, Managing Director, RWN Real Estate Partners LLC, as guest speakers for the Spring 2020 course REAL 215/724/945. Zandi will present a framework for understanding the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, discuss the most likely scenario for the real estate market, and assess key risks facing the global economy. Wachter and Shalam will follow by discussing the presentation and soliciting questions from students.
