Ooty is a famous hill-city in the southern-part of India on Western-ghat range, having numerous hamlets of urban settlements as well as massive inflow of tourists even from abroad throughout the year. Obviously, this has affected the natural resources including the  important one like ground-water level & water-supply thereof. To tackle the issue, land allocation has been devised in a consolidated manner for all land holders separating different household premises in a single zone and another single-zone for consolidated agricultural-land. Those agricultural-lands are equipped with common water-sprinklers for prevention of wastage ensuring equal-distribution for all users towards the spirit of MDGs & SDGs.
