Federal Economic Recovery and the Future of American Cities

Representatives from three cities (Philadelphia, Washington DC, and Miami), along with expert respondents, discussed the opportunities and challenges presented by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and future funding opportunities such as the Reauthorization, how this moment in urban history will shape urban planning, finance, and development in their cities for generations to come. Program was followed by APA’s 100-year celebration and conference at the Museum. Also on display was the APA’s exhibition, Green Community.
Providing expert commentary on urban topics and highlighting Penn IUR's research in the context of pressing urban issues.
