Event Recap

This second event in a four-part film series on urban planning and public health featured the screening of four of the short films from The Weight of the Nation (2012), a series produced by HBO. The four films are entitled “Latino Health Access: A Model of Community Action,” “Nashville Take Action: A city battles obesity,” “Poverty and Obesity: When Healthy Food Isn’t an Option” which focused on Philadelphia, and “Healthy Foods and Obesity: Increasing Markets for Fruit and Vegetable Farmers.” Co-sponsored by the Department of City and Regional Planning, School of Design; Penn’s Center for Public Health Initiatives; and the Planners Network.
