Urban Book Talk: Ecodesign for Cities and Suburbs

Join PennDesign’s Department of City and Regional Planning and Penn IUR for an urban book talk by Larry Beasley, the retired Co-Chief Planner of the City of Vancouver and Distinguished Practice Professor of Planning at University of British Columbia, and Jonathan Barnett, Emeritus Professor of Practice at PennDesign. They will discuss thier new book, Ecodesign for Cities and Suburbs, which investigates how ecodesign, paired with generally accepted business practices and normal development regulations, has led to many successful examples already carried out from Vancouver to Boston.
