Urbanization and Growth on a Finite Planet

The first in a series of free webinars on Urbanization in a Growing World, presented by The Security and Sustainability Forum, in partnership with the Penn Institute for Urban Research and several other organizations. The first installment, “Urbanization and Growth on a Finite Planet,” focused on the particular and challenging effects of climate change in urban environments.

The introductory webinar featured a panel of experts, including Penn IUR Co-Directors Susan Wachter and Eugenie Birch, who discussed trends in urbanization, and urban design. Other panel members included experts from SSF’s other Urbanization series partners: Abt Associates, the World Bank, the Woodrow Wilson Center, and the International Housing Coalition.
