Volume editors and contributors of Women’s Health and the World’s Cities (Penn Press, 2011) discussed the key issues presented in the book and their impact on research agendas. Women’s Health and the World’s Cities illuminates the intersection of gender, health, and urban environments. From the interdisciplinary perspective of urban planners, scholars, health practitioners, and activists, this collection of essays examines the impact of urban living on the physical and psychological states of women and girls in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the United States.
