Photography Contest

The Penn Institute for Urban Research, in collaboration with Perry World House, hosted a photo contest on the theme of “Global Shifts: Urbanization, Migration, and Demography.” In particular, the contest looked for images that examine the relationships between urbanization, migration, and marginalization.
The winning photo was “Swayambhunath Monkey,” by Ashley Napier, taken in Katmandu, Nepal, on December 2014
