Alicia Augustin is a junior from NJ, majoring in Political Science with minors in Urban Education and English. Alicia is an education equity advocate, planning to work in education policy. She tutors in several underserved schools, providing academic support to urban youth. Alicia also serves as a curriculum developer for a non-profit organization. On campus, she’s a project chair on the Student Committee on Undergraduate Education, the Executive Editor of the Penn Undergraduate Law Journal, and the Chair Internal of the Caribbean American Student Association. She is interested in connecting Culturally Responsive Pedagogy to positive student outcomes in urban schools.
