Anthony DeFusco is the Jeffrey J. Diermeier Distinguished Chair in Finance at the University of Wisconsin‚ Madison and a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton) in 2015. He is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Financial Economics and the Journal of Housing Economics.
His research studies empirical questions in household finance with an emphasis on household behaviors and public policies affecting the housing and residential mortgage markets. His work has been the recipient of numerous prizes and is published in leading academic journals including Review of Economic Studies, Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Insights, and Economic Policy.
