Carolyn Chernoff is an urban and cultural sociologist specializing in the role of culture in reproducing and transforming urban inequality. She has been faculty at Skidmore College, Muhlenberg College, and Moore College of Art & Design. She holds a joint Ph.D. in Sociology and Education from the University of Pennsylvania.
