Damien Dwin is Founder and CEO of Lafayette Square, a financial services company that uses debt financing to materially impact under-realized housing, employment, and financial market inclusion opportunities. He has written for Entrepreneur and Inc.com about mass incarceration, unrealized potential of vulnerable communities, racial justice and representation, and the use of credit financing as a force for good. He currently serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees for Vera Institute of Justice, and serves as a board member of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, the Studio Museum in Harlem, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and the Woodberry Forest School and Boys’ Club of New York. He received a B.S./B.A. from Georgetown University, where he later served two terms on the Board of Regents.
