Elizabeth Bynum Sorrell (she/her/hers) is a researcher, strategist, and facilitator based in Madison, WI. Elizabeth is currently the project researcher for the Digital Benefits Network (DBN) at the Beeck Center for Social Impact + Innovation where she leads research strategy for the team. She joined the Beeck Center in 2022 after finishing her PhD in the social sciences. Since joining the DBN, much of her work has focused on digital identity in public benefits, exploring how public benefits agencies can balance access and security in digital benefits delivery.
