Jasmin Acosta Gomez is a junior at Penn studying Urban Studies on the pre-law track with a minor in Legal Studies and History. She is originally from New York, which has sparked her interest in urban issues, specifically the intersection of education and housing. On campus, she is a mentor for Positioned for Success, where she supports middle schoolers who have been affected by gun violence. Jasmin has worked in the Bronx County Courthouse conducting legal research and uncovering the multifaceted layers of urban struggles.
