Jessica Riedman is a senior in Wharton.  While traveling extensively throughout Europe, Jessica became fascinated by the way cityscapes shape culture and lifestyles, an evolving harmony between both old-world travel and innovations in transportation. She cycled several thousand miles across Europe to experience firsthand how the extensive Eurovelo bike networks connect urban centers and bond distant cultures all the way from Spain to Denmark. Now, she wants to explore how transportation can be used to reimagine cities and improve the livability of urban areas, without the adverse effects of additional concrete, traffic, and urban sprawl.
