Pragat Patel is a rising senior at the University of Pennsylvania studying Neuroscience and Bioengineering. He is passionate about expanding healthcare access in urban settings through research and policy. At Penn’s Leonard Davis Institute, CHOP, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, he has contributed to projects on Medicaid reform, palliative care innovation, and cardiovascular health disparities. He is currently developing a quality improvement initiative to strengthen pediatric lead screening efforts in Philadelphia schools while supporting related city-level legislation. Pragat is also building a healthcare startup that integrates AI into transitional care and plans to pursue graduate study in healthcare delivery.
