Robert Stewart is Managing Partner of Urban Impact Partners. He has over 25 years of experience in various aspects of ownership and management in commercial and residential real estate and development and has been with JBG since 1988. His responsibilities with the firm revolve around acquiring and developing the concepts for JBG’s office, hotel, residential, and retail projects. He is engaged in a wide range of nonprofit activities centered on the provision of affordable housing and education. Prior to joining The JBG Companies, he was involved in acquiring and financing real estate in the Washington, D.C., Richmond, and Philadelphia areas with Buvermo Properties. He received his bachelor’s degree from Princeton University and an M.B.A. degree from The Wharton School.
