Caroline Cheong is Associate Director of Housing and Neighborhoods at the Kinder Institute for Urban Research. She is an urban planning researcher and practitioner whose work spans urban heritage conservation, economic development, affordable housing and urban regeneration. Caroline earned both her PhD in City and Regional Planning and MS in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania and her BS in Anthropology from the University of Chicago. Previously, Caroline was Assistant Professor of History at the University of Central Florida and Director of Research for preservation economics firm PlaceEconomics and Heritage Strategies International.
