Sharicca Boldon’s mission is to use operational excellence and participatory problem-solving as critical levers to increase educational equity. Self-dubbed the "education engineer," she combines her corporate experience and commitment to justice to help communities craft a better world than they inherited. She served as co-chair of the Baltimore Education Coalition where members successfully pushed for funding to renovate and build over twenty schools in ten years. This award-winning initiative paved the way for the establishment of 21st-century learning environments for tens of thousands of students. She holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Pennsylvania State University, an MBA from George Washington University, and a master’s degree in public education management from Yale University through the Broad Center. She is currently a doctoral student in the Graduate School of Education at the University of Pennsylvania and works in executive education to help senior leaders achieve their highest performance. She serves on the programs committee for the Difficult Dialogues National Resource Center where she works to help leaders strengthen their ability to facilitate deliberative dialogue.
