Wesley Garant is the Associate Director of Operations at the Penn Institute for Urban Research, where he oversees the Institute’s financial, administrative, and operational functions in support of its interdisciplinary research and public programming. Working closely with the Managing Director, he manages budgets, grants, events, research projects, and strategic initiatives that advance Penn IUR’s mission and research dissemination goals.

Wesley brings over three years of experience supporting academic departments at the University of Pennsylvania, with a background in architecture and the built environment. His professional interests include urban planning, climate policy, and nature-based solutions in cities. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies.
